i tried to upgrade our RCT but install roles back.
Have uninstalled old version, removed folders from Program Files, removed any reg entries i can find, rebooted etc but still get a role back when trying to install.
any ideas?
I have heard about something like this once or twice, the solutions at that time were to make sure to also delete the “C:\ProgramData\Recast Software” folder. Please note that the ProgramData folder is hidden by default so you might need to make hidden files visible to see it. It seems that there is something that gets corrupted in that folder that the installer can’t remove/deal with and then rolls back.
