For the remote software center, the “Software updates” tab shows the Message “The recast agent is required to view Missing software updates managed by windows update agent” shows on devices using WUfB (we are currently trialling a move to WUfB). I understand if it isn’t showing anything here because this is software center and the updates wouldn’t normally show here but the message suggests to me that maybe they could show WUfB updates in here, but something needs to be configured. The recast agent is installed and the service is running. Is it maybe just a misdirection with an incorrect message. Maybe should be something like " Windows updates not managed by config manager" or something instead?

Thank you for contacting the Recast Software Support Team, I’d be happy to assist. Remote Software Center (RSC) should be able to detect and show WUfB updates. WUfB utilizes the built-in Windows Update policy and is how RSC gathers that info.
Since the Agent is installed and the service is running, can you verify that the Agent is Connected and Authorized in the Recast Management Server (RMS) under Administration > Agents?
