Ping Option for IPv4 or IPv6

I can’t seem to find an option in the Configure Recast RCT to use IPv4 for the Ping command.
Ever since Windows Vista, IPv6 is the preferred protocol over IPv4 so if you try to ping a computer using the computer name, it will use the IPv6 address if there is one registered in DNS for the computer. I understand you can change the preferred protocol on the console system to use IPv4 over IPv6 but there are other reasons for keeping IPv6 as the preferred but having the option to control how Ping works with Recast RCT, adding a -4 or -6 switch to force Ping to use one of those protocols, would be very helpful.
