Hi,

I am looking for the right click Tools and I worry the working. Do you need to run the RCT/Admin console with an account who has admin right on all computers?

Is it a way to configure the Tools to avoid the need of running the admin console with admin rights on all computers?

There isn’t a way to run the free tools without admin rights on the devices you want to manage. The enterprise version will let you spin up a Recast server which you can configure with a service account to run actions on remote machines.

It’s part of the paid for RCT product - and well worth the investment, imho. It installs on your sccm site server.

So no more need a local admin account if we get the enterprise version. Just install Enterprise on the site server and tech will connect to the site server from the RCT/adminconsole and will be able to do everything.

That’s correct, if you setup the Recast server to use a service account, the tech will not need to start their console with administrator permissions. The Recast server will act as a proxy server for all Recast actions.
