When I go to remote software center - applications; use the drop down to select the currently logged on user, tick a not installed application, the install button is greyed out.
When device is selected in the drop down, both options are available as applicable.
RMS has me set with all rights under permissions.
What can I check to sort this out?

Hope all is well! This is a limitation of user-target apps in Remote Software Center. We don’t currently have a method to kick off user-targeted applications as the information isn’t gathered from the client but from ConfigMgr itself. If this is something that you’d like to see added, feel free to submit a feature request here: Feature Requests - Recast Software and we can research this further for you.
