Shutdown & Re-Boot -Long wait timesin use plus a way to do it now needed

We are an education environment and we need to give the user the shutdown in 6 to 8 hours with the abort the can cancel it if they need to. But, they don’t have the option of hurrying it a long by clicking on a button that would do it now. could really use this feature
We have to do this to avoid interrupting the class room instruction
