Our environment has changed and we are no longer admins on anyone’s PC. Can the tools be configured to use a service account rather than the account used to connect to the console? Would Enterprise tools offer more choices?
The enterprise tools offer a service account option, but only in the client / server version. Not all of the tools run through the server, however, so you wouldn’t be able to do things like open regedit, computer management, or any of the tools that access the C$ share. Anything that launches in a Recast window would work, though.
