While testing freshly installed Recast Management Server configuration I deleted agent that was previously autoapproved. Now I got message in web-ui saying: "A Recast Agent (hostname-cleared : SYSTEM) is trying to connect, but is not approved. Actions will not be sent to the proxy until it is approved.
But host itseltf isn’t appear in agent or proxy categories.
So how can I approve again host that was once deleted? I tryed set Recast Agent Approval to 0 but that was not helpfull.
Yes! There is a small issue when removing and adding agents. We need to force the agent to re-enroll if we remove it and re-add it.
Here’s what you need to do.
- Uninstall the Agent
- Delete the file C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Recast Software\Recast Agent\agent.sqlite
- Reinstall the agent
- Go into the Recast Management Server interface and the new agent install should show up in the agents section.
I’ve found agent.sqlite file on host with installed agent. I’l try the routine after bring the installation to the previous condition. Had to reinstall Recast Management Server itself.
